Itinerary Day 1. Transfer to Rab Group transfer from the Airport to Rab. Accommodation in Hotel. Dinner in Restaurant with short presentation of the program.
Day 2. | Misnjak- Podshilo | 25 km. We start our adventure on the NE side of the Island of Rab by exploring his cliffs and few caves. After exploring we'll stop on beautiful beach of Ilo under the highest top of Rab (408 m ) for a swim. We will also jump in one cave and than dive out through the submerged passage. The current will take us further to the Lopar sandy beaches where we will camp in the Podshilo Bay.
Day 3. | Podshilo – Prvich | 17 km After our rest and hike we will paddle the North side of the St .Gregory Island under his high cliffs. This Island was the former political female prison in the former Yugoslavia ,while the mail prison was on the opposite island of Goli.We will than paddle across the canal to the Island of Prvich where we will set up the camp.
Day 4. | Prvich – Plavnik | 30 km Early breakfast as today is our longest day to paddle. We'll have a small cross of the Senjska Vrata canal to the island of Krk where we will explore the numerous beaches and coves of this Island but swim in them as well. Our forward strokes will take us to the Island of Plavnik across the 5 k's wide canal to our camp in the oak tree forest.
Day 5. | Plavnik – Mali Bok | 17 km Today is our long day in the kayak as we will explore a lot of caves and cliffs where the Griffon Vultures are nesting. First we'll paddle under the cliffs of Plavnik Island and than we'll go across to the Island of Cres-Croatian biggest Island. There are few great beaches on our way where we will stop for a swim before we reach our camp in the Bay of Mali Bok situated under the historic town of Orlec (Eagle).
Day 6. | Mali Bok – Meli | 20 km As well as on the day before we'll explore numerous caves and cliffs filled with Griffon Vultures. Some of the caves are home of thousands of bats. The geological history has made this part a unique place to paddle. Today we are entering in the first reserve for Dolphins on the Mediterranean. Our camp is situated in the sandy bay of Meli.
Day 7. | Meli – Kolorat |18 km From the beach of Meli we paddle forward to the completely different surrounding. We'll pass few beaches before we reach the forest of Punta Kriza-Cape Cross. This evergreen part is the area of perfect tranquility with a large and untouched beach, dense forest with hundreds of animals such as deer, fawns, mouflon and birds like owls and hawks. We paddle this coastline until we reach the bay of Kolorat where we camp with a view on the Island of Rab.
Day 8. | Kolorat – Loshinj | 17 km Today is a bit shorter paddling day. We'll paddle by the beaches of Cape Cross and than we will make a brake just before our crossing of Nerezine canal. We'll need about one hour to get to the Camp in the bay of Poljana. The rest of the day we will spend on washing our cloth or under the showers after swimming. Before the sun gets down we'll hike to the town of Mali Losinj where we will explore this little town on foot.
Day 9. | Loshinj -Orjule | 20 km Our paddling starts a bit earlier today as we will visit the marine institute for exploring and protecting the sea, "Blue World". This non-government association is on the first place for protecting the Dolphins in the Adriatic Sea and after adopting one of the Dolphins we'll paddle to the Island of Orjule where we'll camp. Not far away from these islands is the founding site of the unique bronze statue of Apoksiomen dating back to the 4th century B.C.
Day 10. | Orjule-Ilovik | 16 km Today we kayak towards the island of Ilovik passing by the island of St.Peter on which is situated an 11th century abbey. People from Ilovik enjoy a long life expectancy, some say due to the healthy Mediterranean diet and the island being car free! After lunch we will paddle further around the island until we come to the bay of Parzine where we will have a swim. After swimming we will continue to the town of Ilovik where we will load our kayaks on the boat to Rab. Overnight in Hotel
Day11. After breakfast we’ll have a group transfer to Zadar Airport.
