Bafo and I, affectionately known as Yogi, embarked on an extraordinary odyssey that transcends the boundaries of ordinary exploration. Our vision: is to circumnavigate the entirety of Croatia's stunning coastal archipelago, which boasts a breathtaking array of 1244 islands, islets, rocks, and reefs.

Our expedition to circumnavigate all Croatian islands is more than just a maritime adventure; it's a journey with a profound purpose. By traversing the entirety of Croatia's 1244 islands, we aim to raise awareness of two critical environmental issues threatening the coastal ecosystem: plastic pollution and unsustainable coastal development.

Set out on a kayaking expedition, visiting four islands and circumnavigating three of them. From Rab's stunning coastlines, hidden coves, and pristine beaches to rugged Prvić Island, the largest inhabited in the Adriatic, and Grgur and Goli, with a dark history as political prison islands. Our journey began with a simple yet profound love for adventure and a deep appreciation for the beauty of Croatia's natural landscapes and rich cultural heritage. In our pursuit of a simple yet fulfilling life, serendipity led us to cross paths with Jim back in 2010.  Jim reached out with a proposition that resonated deeply with our values—an opportunity to collaborate on programs aimed at making a tangible difference in the lives of others.
